Thank you for taking an interest in me as your next Deltona District 6 Commissioner! I have been a proud Deltona homeowner since 2021. I’m currently serving on Deltona’s Planning & Zoning Commission and am active in our municipal workshops including the Vision 2050 plan.

I hold a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts from New York University (NYU), an MBA with an Accounting focus from Louisiana State University (LSU) and am currently pursuing my MS in Urban Planning from Arizona State University (ASU). In the past, I’ve held a PHR (Professional Human Resources) certification and Certified Scrum Master certification. I was a SAG-AFTRA AFL-CIO member for 10 years and was TIPS certified while I was bartending.

I was in Deltona University’s 2nd class!

I’ve spent more than 15 years recruiting for a variety of industries and business sizes, ranging from local to global organizations. I spent the last few years in healthcare at a statewide hospital system of 15,000 employees. I spent my first 8 years of recruiting in finance, consulting with Fortune 500’s like Credit Suisse (then Credit Suisse First Boston), Barclays Capital, and JP Morgan. I had a very lucrative career ahead of me when I realized money doesn’t buy happiness so I moved industries. I had small contracts with light industrial manufacturing, online media, and non profit until I landed in healthcare.

During my time in NYC I was also active in acting, earning my SAG-AFTRA card and getting a few small speaking roles on two soap operas.

The reason you don’t know me is because outside of City Hall, I’m an introverted homebody who would rather sit at home and look at spreadsheets or online data. I’d rather invest my time researching to ask the right questions to the right people. It’s important to understand the opinions of the community and the advice of the subject matter experts when voting in the best interest of Deltona 2050.

(Although I’m often at Deltona’s little kid events with my 4 year old and any event in Volusia that has a bouncy castle set up.)

I’m a single dad, so my hobbies are dishes, laundry, cooking, trash and yard work. And that is all right with me. After 13 years in NYC, I moved to Florida to embrace its culture and slow the pace.

I’m the only District 6 candidate that hasn’t already served as commissioner. I don’t have a campaign manager or strategist. I’ve done everything myself so far.

If you aren’t pleased with the direction Deltona has headed in the last 10 to 15 years, or have a “don’t re-elect any of them” perspective, I’m the only non-legacy District 6 candidate that would be a first time, first term commissioner.
